a workshop to practice a strength training approach that helps improve mobility and overall balance. Creating a foundation for a healthy body and graceful movement
We will target relative strength and functional mobility using our own body weight and easily accessible equipment. Working through seven foundational movement patterns we will discover individual weaknesses and purposefully select exercises that target them. All moves will be focused on the maximum range of motion to improve mobility and strength in all of the patterns humans move in.
We will discuss ways to structure our individual training sessions to promote a balanced, strong, and mobile body that is capable of moving gracefully.

Especially dancers, aerialists, yogis, martial artists, health and wellness professionals.
Pre-Requisites
Everyone is welcome, but it might be more fun to participate without major acute injuries. Even better, if you can perform the following tasks for at least 30 seconds and smile at the same time:
Full squat. Hang. Support yourself on your hands (up-dog, down-dog). Balance on one leg.
We will figure out the rest!
BRING
Comfortable clothes to move in.
Socks that slide well on a wooden floor.
Paper and pen if you like to take notes.
